Find out if your old PS2 games will run on PS3
Ashley wrote earlier about the good news that 73% of PS2 games will play on the PS3 in Europe. But which ones? Click here to visit Sony's website, which has an A-Z directory of old games (including PS one titles).
It assigns each game one of three ratings. Three grey boxes means a game has "no known issues to date", two grey boxes means it should play "with some minor issues", and one grey box means it should play "with noticeable issues". So hang on, how many of those 73% cited earlier fall into the last category, hmm?
Sony has also provided advice on how to ensure PS2 games give "the best experience" on PS3. Apparently you should avoid connecting non-essential peripherals to your PS3, avoid 60Hz and network modes, and skip optional FMV sequences (does anyone watch these, honestly?).
