As the world settles down to their newly opened PS3s, fans of each console will no doubt be beside themselves in an attempt to prove which is the greater. With both machines offering a variety of different options, the only real way to differentiate between the two, is to compare the games available on both systems.

Earlier today, Simon uploaded a couple of great videos, outlining the PS3 console released in Europe and gives his thoughts on Resistance: Fall of man, the PS3s most important launch title.

After you've had a solid watch of these features, our friends over at Eurogamer have done an expansive comparison of all the games available on both systems. With screenshots of both systems running games at 720p and 1080p, the benefit of an HDMI port on the PS3 is clearly visible.

It's not clear what the favourite game is among the staff here on pspsps.tv, but I'm sure arguments will ensue over the weekend.
