Although videogames were cited as a cause for the awful shooting at Virginia Tech, with Dr Phil and Jack Thompson blaming violent games merely hours after the massacre, it now seems that they can no longer be blamed.

After police searched shooter Cho Seung Hui’s dorm room, it seems he didn't own any video games at all, and had no interest or involvement in them.

This might mean that the blame will move away from this particular incident, however with people like Andrew Rosenblum hitting the news its not going to do the gaming industry any good, and opinions like this will continue to cause concern…
