Sony clears up September game schedule

Killzonee3.jpgSemi-official Sony blog Threespeech made gaming headlines last week with its announcement that five big titles were due out for the PS3 this September: namely Lair (for new screenshots, click here), Warhawk, Heavenly Sword, Killzone and Ratchet and Clank. However, website Eurogamer has contacted a Sony spokesperson who stated that “"The release date on ThreeSpeech for Killzone PS3 is a mistake.”

The blog also made mention of a PS3 edition of Bioshock and a HD version of Wipeout Fusion. Rather disappointingly, a post has appeared on the blog stating that there is no indication that Bioshock is headed towards the PS3. The news doesn’t came as such a big surprise. If Killzone was prepping for a September release, we probably would have seen more media from it by now. Apart from a rather old E3 movie, there's not been much. Bioshock not coming to the PS3 is a real shame, but not altogether surprising considering that it was touted by 2k as an Xbox 360/PC exclusive. You have to wonder where Threespeech is getting its info from though.
