Strong pound hits console prices

A surging British Pound is having a noticable effect on prices for Game consoles, peripherals and and software sales in the UK, with a strong Euro bringing its weight to bear on a weakened US Dollar of late.

It's thought the Pound might even go over the magic $2 mark in the next few days, meaning enormous buying power for tourists, but hitting exports hard.

If the pound continues to improve it's standing against the dollar, how will this affect the price of the PS3, already costing Sony a huge slice of its profits?
