Rumour: Bioshock getting delayed release for PS3

Given the amount of hype Microsoft is putting behind Bioshock, I am pretty sceptical about System Shock 2’s spiritual sequel ever coming to the PS3. And yet this is one rumour that refuses to go away and this time the flames of speculation are being fanned by the UK’s Official Playstation magazine. Apparently the latest issue makes regular mention of the game, even going so far as to claim that it is only a timed exclusive for the 360.

A timed exclusive does seem like a possibility; after all, games like Oblivion and F.E.A.R. have made successful ports over a year after their initial release. And to be honest, judging by the gameplay footage released recently, it doesn’t look like the graphics are going to age too badly in a year or so. If you haven’t seen it yet, check out the trailer here. Read
