Sin City games on the way
According to this story over at MCV, the Sin City universe is going to get its own games. The rights to the franchise have been bought by Red Mile Entertainment and cover everything from the original comic books and graphic novels to the recent film. Frank Miller, the series’ creator, will be collaborating, stating that "Taking Sin City into the world of video games is very exciting – games offer a whole new way to bring audiences into Sin City.”
There are quite a few movie/game collaborations on the way, but I think Sin City has a lot of potential. The stories of Sin City, with their over-the-top characters and action, as well as distinctive visual look, lend themselves very well to computer games. Having a chance to walk around a digital recreation of Sin City could be great fun, as long as Red Mile manage to keep the gameplay on par with the comic book visuals they will no doubt be exploiting. No platform details have been announced yet, but I think that the PS3 and Xbox 360 are fairly likely contenders.
