Condemned II: Bloodshot art has been released by Sega, depicting several characters and environments for the game. You can take a look at them on the turn. The artwork includes some shots of what could be settings in the game, including a dilapidated hall with a suspended T-Rex skeleton, a street, and a body of water covered in rusting metal structures.

I’m quite optimistic about this. The original Condemned was a fantastically atmospheric and gripping affair, but suffered from an incredibly repetitive series of levels. Grimy corridor followed grimy corridor, only broken up by a rather unconvincing outdoors section towards the end. I hope they spend a bit more time on the plot: while the original seemed to have a detailed backstory, it wasn’t one that the game went out of its way to elaborate on.
