Fallout 3 coming out for PS3

Fallout 3 will be headed for the PS3, according to Game Informer. Details are still sparse, but the front page of the July issue of the magazine has gone up on the official website. It lists Fallout 3 as a PS3, Xbox 360 and PC release.

It’s not altogether surprising that it's bound for the PS3. It’s being developed by Oblivion developers Bethesda, who are using a version of the Oblivion engine. Seeing as how Oblivion was a well received PS3 title, it’d be surprising if Fallout 3 skipped Sony’s console. The trailer that came out yesterday was promising: it looks like Bethesda are making a sequel that follows the distinctive retro-futuristic look of the first two games.
