capt.sge.lao74.131106051911.photo00.photo.default-512x421.jpgSony Computer Entertainment is not planning to lay off staff from its Japanese arm despite recent job cuts in Europe and the US, according to a spokesperson.

Recently we reported that SCEA has made redundancies, but an exact figure hasn’t been confirmed. - "The goal is to reform the organisation," is all spokeswoman Sayoka Henmi said, according to Gamesindustry.biz.

Job cuts were also made at SCEE earlier this year, with SCEI spokesperson Satoshio Fukuoka also suggesting that the company's Japanese operations could also be subject to streamlining.
However, Henmi has now stated that Sony Computer Entertainment Japan has no plans to make any of its staff redundant.
