PlayStation Network will be key PSP driver

sce03%201.jpgSony Computer Entertainment Europe VP Zeno Colaço has told Pocket Gamer that the "PlayStation Network isn't just about PS3 going forward" and that the company will put more focus on "connectibility" between the PSP and PS3.

Citing that the PSP software line-up may have suffered from PlayStation 2 ports (nah, really?!), Colaço says that the "downloadable element of PSP will be a key factor" to the handheld in the future.

There seems to be lots of good stuff going on in PSP land at the moment, and in addition to the swathe of new games we’ve had announced, we’re looking forward to what this connectivity might offer.
