Get your gripe in Grand Theft Auto IV

The Grand Theft Auto series has always made great use of the in-game radio stations to maintain the mood of the series with some damned good tunes and a heavy dose of satire. The fourth iteration of the iconic series looks like it is taking a slight turn towards a more gritty feel, but that definitely hasn’t ruled the radio stations are out – far from it. In fact, a new competition means that you could even get your own voice into the game. All you need to is call a number and air your grievances at life, you health, the state world or anything.

The full details are on the WKTT Talk Radio station website – a fictional Liberty City radio station set inside the game – and all you need to do is call the number (212-360-2368) state your name and let the rant flow to be in with a chance of getting your voice in the game. Just spare a moment of pity for the person who has to listen to them all and decide which ones go through.

I had a brief flick through and there doesn’t appear to be any restriction on where you call from. But as it’s a radio station based in a fictional American city, I’m guessing British accents aren’t going to be the first choice, but who knows? It’s worth a shot – and you can probably Skype the number too.
