Lego Indiana Jones announced

Indiana Jones will be the next film franchise to get the Lego treatment, it’s recently been unveiled. Developer Traveller’s Tales, the bods behind the Lego Star Wars games (as well as the rather regrettable Transformers Movie game) is making the game. No platforms have yet been announced, but judging by the Lego Star Wars series, ‘almost everything’ would be my bet. You can take a look at the official website here. The trailer shows a release date of Summer 2008.

The Lego Star Wars games were casual gaming done right. Not the most sophisticated or deep games in the world, they offered a simple, fun and addictive arcade experience, with a sense of humour so sadly lacking from most games. The jump-in co-op was icing on the cake. Looking forward to seeing this one.
