The first trailer for this upcoming Rock em’ up has hit the web, along with pics of the accessories that you can expect to play the game with. The extras are looking pleasingly realistic, with the trailer showing off some nice-looking animations and crowd details. From the trailer, it looks like the drums will be played in much the same way as the guitar, with musical cues dropping from the top of the screen.

I’m looking forward to seeing how the different types of music (vocals, drumming guitar and bass guitar) end up balancing in the final product. It’ll be interesting to see if people go for just the one instrument, or whether people can be persuaded to buy the whole pack. Particularly if there’s going to be a focus on online play, it would be good to get roughly the same numbers of people on each instrument. Click on the turn for a guitar pic.
