Target chooses Blu-ray, Woolworths rumoured to do the same

Target_05_75_PMS186.jpgAccording to Reuters, US retail chain Target has announced that it will only carry Blu-ray disc players. This will begin in October and go "at least through the holiday season."

This comes a month after Blockbuster said they would be going Blu-ray exclusive too.
And it doesn’t end there, although only currently rumoured, it seems the UK companies are following suit with a Woolworths staff member letting slip that the chain would only be selling Blu-ray after trialing both formats.
