Given that Tekken: Dark Resurrection went online, this one was almost a certainty, but nevertheless it’s reassuring that the PS3 version of Tekken 6 will be playable online. It's been confirmed that online play will feature in the title, which will apparently be one of many online features.

The Tekken series has been a staple of the PS3, but given Namco Bandai’s recent releases for Microsoft's console, with series like Ace Combat and Katamari appearing on the Xbox 360, I sometimes wonder whether this next Tekken title will stay a PS3 exclusive.
