The PSP GPS reciever evolves

psp-gps-391.jpgFancy using your PSP as a funky GPS system? Well if you’re impatient you’ll have to import the PSP GPS receiver from Japan, however some new software from Zenrin Map 2 and the Edia Maplus will add location data to the GPS service, provided through Wi-Fi.

For instance if the PSP is connected to a Wi-Fi hotspot the navigation applications can continue to show the location inside buildings where GPS satellites are not reachable. In a world of convergence the abilities the PSP is offering are just getting better and better. What would you guys like to see next?
