The US public's reaction to the GTA IV delay
US website and print magazine The Onion has gone onto the streets of America to do some vox pops on what the population think of GTA IV’s delay into 2008, with quite amusing results.
Some of the comments were just brilliant. “Well, I suppose until then I can relax with a fine glass of wine and brush up on my Dostoevsky,” said one guy. Another seemed a little more tense however.
“What?! I’m so fucking angry I could shoot a prostitute in the face,” he said, tongue in cheek (we hope).
The delay is bad, bad news to the big GTA fans, but they will have some other great titles to keep them busy on the run up to Christmas, so GTA IV might be a well needed fresh burst of gaming in the early months of 2008. Still, we’re bound to hear loads about it in the run up to its release next year, meaning there will be tones more hype and game-bashing to come, but we’ll keep you up to speed.
