PS3 Orange Box Delayed
PS3 game delays have been occurring with disturbing regularity and in abject horror I read that the hotly anticipated Orange Box is the latest victim of delay. The fact that the launch date for the PC and Xbox 360 version will remain as the 9th October will just make the pill even more bitter for those PS3 owners who have been subjected to a large number of titles launching later on their console of choice.
Valve has confirmed that the Sony PS3 version of its five game Half Life 2 compilation set is to be available "several weeks" after the 360 and PC versions. Given that Valve are known for not making deadlines, in order to make the games they launch the best they can be, perhaps we shouldn't be all that surprised. It is just incredibly disappointing that the PS3 version will be last to market.
Valve have not identified a particular reason for the delay and even more worrying there has been no official word on the revised release date either!
