Resistance shame - church forgives Sony's sins

resistance-debacle.jpgThe Church of England has forgiven Sony for the Resistance debacle, also revealing that the scandal has boosted church attendances.

"In so many ways Sony have failed to live up to these standards by disrespecting people of faith and the victims of gun crime here in Manchester" said the Dean of Manchester Cathedral, the Very Reverend Rogers Govender, adding that the Manchester church does forgive Sony "even though they still believe they have done nothing wrong."

The Reverend also pointed out that "Some important lessons have been learnt" - yes, the lesson that there's no such thing as bad publicity, especially as the scandal also boosted sales of the game as well as church attendances.

How about when Resistance 2 arrives they set a level in St. Paul's Cathedral? Everyone can pretend to get angry, the game will get on the news and sell billions of copies, then everyone can shake hands afterwards as they count the cash?
