People have all kinds of hobbies. For some, it's fishing, for others it's martial arts or a bit of a kickaround in the park. But for one select group of f*cked up individuals it's running around shooting people for cash rewards. The Club sounds a bit like a modern-day Smash TV without the prize microwaves or wierd floating orb monsters.

Ok, so the only real connection is that you kill people for points, but that'll do. SEGA and developer Bizarre Creations have just announced three new game modes that help explain a little about the rather unusual game play mechanic.

Run the Gauntlet
A single player mode: "Run the Gauntlet" is exactly how it sounds; a point-to-point run-and-gun race against the clock. Players will sprint through the level chaining together as many combos as possible by blowing away bad guys in stylish and deadly ways.

Team Skull Shot
A multiplayer mode: This is a team-based game where both teams have coloured skull shot targets scattered throughout a level. The red team must shoot the blue skulls and vice versa.

Score Match
A multiplayer mode: Players are set a score target and must burst into the level and try to achieve it as quickly as possible by taking down the other players and keeping their combos going.

In short, you shoot stuff, you win. Just the way I like it!
