Duke Nukem Forever trailer out and game confirmed as multiformat

466a4b1d8c177_featured_without_text_duke4.jpgDespite speculation that the title was going to be a PC exclusive, developer 3D Realms have told MCV that Duke Nukem Forever is going to be a multi format game. After ten years in the making it's questionable as to whether the game can live up to it's own hype, but we're still very excited, and glad to hear it will likely see a PS3 release.

Speaking with MCV, 3D Realms CEO Scott Miller enthused; “We plan to have a multi-platform release if possible. We're not nailing down a date yet, but we're excited about the game's progress". So, still plenty of maybes and ifs, but the game is underway. Of course it was on the horizon when the 1998 trailer was released, but this time around it really does sound like DNF is actually a reality, even if it does come out on the PlayStation9.

The trailer is out, it looks ace, and it lappears that 3D Realms' Prey has had quite an influence. You can watch it here.
