Get PSP Media Manager Free (in Japan)
Sony PSP – a nifty piece of technology; all that web browsing, music playing, video watching fun. I think there are a couple of games for it too. Somewhere. Anyways, what the PSP is best at is loading it up to the gunwales with pirated TV shows. The only problem is that Sony then made it incredibly fiddly to name your videos correctly so that they are recognised by the console.
No matter – Sony then went and created a rather handy piece of software called Media Manager, which was admirably draggy and droppy and generally straight forward. Trouble is, you have to pay for it – a handsome fifteen pounds! Pah. Well fortunately, Sony Japan has seen sense and released the software absolutely free.
The website is here and although there’s a lot of language you won’t understand, it is very easy to find the download and the program then runs in English. Yay. The irony is that, if you frequent any of those websites where the aforementioned copyright infringed TV shows can be most easily acquired, then you’ll probably have acquired a dodgy copy of Media Manager already. Still, it’s worth downloading it just to prove a point and maybe encourage Sony to take its new-found generous nature worldwide.
