iPhone gets an extremely unofficial PlayStation emulator

Some clever man (or autistic maths-genius 14-year-old boy) has managed to get a PlayStation1 emulator working on iPhone and iPod Touch. He's about to start running one of those fashionable 'closed beta tests' imminently, so it's not available for public download - but will be soon.

Here's what it's looking like at the moment:

You can see how he's trying to get around the iPhone's embarrassing lack of buttons by mapping the PS controls to the touchscreen. Clever, but we'd image the end result will be a marginally useful novelty, hardly beating the thrill of replaying old PS1 games perfectly on PSP.
