Sony confirm that there will be no LittleBigPlanet demo in 2007. Boo

lbp1.jpgIt’s not usually the kind of news that disappoints come the hectic Christmas time, but it’s the confirmation of the slipping of the LittleBigPlanet demo that’s dampened my heart a little this festive time of year.

You might remember that many a month ago it was stated by Sony that though LittleBigPlanet wouldn’t be officially released until 2008, we should expect a demo teaser in the “fall” to get us salivating.

But sadly, Ron Eagle, senior manager for PR at SCEA has “officially confirmed,” that there won’t be a demo this year. No reason is given for the slippage, though a full release date of next year is maintained. Though the big tease did profess to playing, and enjoying, 30 of the expected 50 developer made levels. The sod.
