ASDA and EA team up to offer short term PS3 bargain
![]()
Starting today, it seems that supermarket chain ASDA are the place to head if you fancy a bargainous entry into the world of the PS3, as they are offering up the console, plus 2 EA titles for a pitiful £299.
Only lasting until the 3rd of February, people eager to pick up a PS3 will get both the fantastic FIFA 08, and the quite crap Need for Speed: Pro Street thrown in for brand spankingly free.
Not a bad deal at all if you’ve yet to pick up one of those glorious PS3 consoles. Alright Need for Speed might be a bit on the rubbish side, but I’m sure you’ll get a decent amount of cash in trade in towards another decent title.
This is only a short term deal, so it’s doubtful that this is the initial signs of yet another price drop so soon after the recently appearing Sony bundle which gives you the console plus two first party games for £349. But hey, it’s a cracking deal, so get one picked up.
