Little Big Planet to see September release?

little_big_planet1.jpgA source very close to Sony today revealed to Eurogamer that the much-hyped Little Big Planet for PlayStation3 would be released this September. Unfortunately, the unnamed source was unable to comment on precise details, or even leave quotable comment. It seems Eurogamer know the date exactly, but are unable to reveal much of what they have been told.

Regardless, this unofficial announcement should do something to reestablish the Little Big Planet hype machine. A few months back it was impossible to avoid this curious title, which invites players to create their own games using the package's physics and toolset, before sharing their creations with the PS3 community as a whole. Some were hoping the game would be released before September, as Mr. Phil Harrison revealed the game in March last year. It's likely that more news will emerge at the forthcoming GDC
