CoD4 patch offers, like, LOADS of changes
Remember those days when patching was only something that struck PC games? Bet a million bloody news stories will hit with that opening sentence in the near future with regards to the mass of changes due to strike Call of Duty 4 soon.
The big new inclusion is host migration. Remember when you’d get involved in a game with a few decent online gaming pals? That time you were having masses of fun, cut short by the host buggering off for his lunch? Well fear no more as in future is the current host scarpers, a replacement will be chosen and you’re new friends wont drift off into the murky world of online gaming never to be seen again.
Thankfully, nine new spawn points per map are promised, hopefully meaning a little extra variety for us old hats. Sniper rifle accuracy has been moderately improved too, thanks to a wealth of feedback. All in all, a huge amount of stuff that should only make the best current console online multiplayer game even better.
Oh, and I also remember a plethora of console games that were just SCREAMING for a nice patch to fix a few bugs. And that’s something that can happen in this modern day. So stop your whinging you ignorant sods.
