These leaked screenshots are always funny things. On the one hand they can hint towards something astonishingly wonderful, and others they are about as dull and tedious as a wet weekend in Margate. No real offence to Margate meant.

This one, visually at least, falls into the latter category. I mean, it shows a bit of a dry sandy landscape. And that’s about it. A blurry mess that looks like an antlion from Half-Life 2 lurks in the bottom right hand corner, but other than that, there’s bugger all to really show anything vaguely interesting.

On the other hand, it does go a slight way to hint that Shadow of the Colossus 2 IS in production. And if that doesn’t make you want to shout from the rooftops, then you’re a daft sod indeed.
