Of course the pre-orders for the PS3 are higher...the poor PS3 owners have no good games to play and can't wait for GTA IV. How hard is it to figure that one out?

I would say that the 360 owners are too busy playing all the great games they have to take time out for pre-orders.

You should probably think more next time before writing the article if you want to have any impact or possibility of people believing it. Come on...exactly 2 to 1??? Not possible?

It has just occured to me: given that there are still at least two 360s for every one PS3 in the UK, a pre-order rate of 2:1 in favour of the *360* would still only be equal in terms of attach rate.

As an Xbox 360 owner, I will by the game the day it comes out. I would order it online with my gift card I have, but it would take 5-10 days to deliver - so I'm just going to go hunt every store I can to find it, even if I cannot use my gift card.

The 360 version will get an special download later on as Take2/RockStar and Microsoft agreed.

I'm buying the $90 version!!! GTA is gunna rock. It will also be the only game I play off line because my other games, I only play online.

Cant wait for the online features as well.

The game is gunna rock hard. Like GTA VC ans SA on xbox having improved gfx than the ps2, the 360 version SHOULD BE better than the ps3!!!

Since Warner bros, Netflicks, Blockbuster, & other companys have now gone exclusively to blu-ray as their choice to the Format for their movies. knowing that 360's only good year was 07 mainly becuz of halo & that's about it. Microsoft Has hardly any good games this year as for PS3 now it's Sony's year to Shine & It will Shine so bright that xbox360 is jst gonna end up blind & behind. Most of the good games this year are mainly going to PS3 because of the storage capacity of the blu-ray disc compared to the 360's. & to show further proof of this just look @ the Format wars. So don't expect much this year for 360 except fable2, Spore which is going to ps3 as well, rumorly bioshock 2, not sure about gears of war though some say its going to Ps3 as well. Anyways here's a quicky for some of the good games that is gonna bring sony on top Metal Gear Solid 4, Killzone 2, Resistance 2, Grand Turismo, Little Big Planet, Sony's XBL Killer "HOME", Final Fantasy XIII, Motorstorm 2, Take 2 (still wonderin what it's gonna b), SOCOM: confrontations, Tekken 6, & much much more coming soon.So We will see who's gonna win this year & I'm betting on Sony (mainly cause their brand are made to last a long time just look at ps1 & ps2 which ps2 is still selling video games after 8yrs in the business) So what would you rather pick.

Grand Theft Auto IV will be more enjoyable on PLAYSTATION due to the fact that while you you playing this game you won't have to worry about your system dying on you like Xbox 360. And Sony is gonna have download able content for GTA IV on the future.
Xbox 360 owners are just mad to see that the PS3 version is already selling more than theirs LMFAO PS3 rulez all. We got more GTA than Xbox PSP has 2 exclusive and PS2 same one...

I have both ps3 and 360 and have no games for my ps3 at this time, but have about 8 at this time for 360.
Doesn't mean I won't have games for my ps3 later when, there is a game worth playing.

I would also have to add, and agree with a few other it is because 360 gamers are playing a lot of good games right now, they don't need to preorder another!

When GTA IV is released for 360 it will sell more copies of the game than PS3. I my self am buying it for my Xbox 360 not my PS3!

2) GTAIV may well sell more on the 360. But so it freakin' should given there are twice as many 360's than PS3's out there at the moment. But will it sell twice as many? Doubt it.....

I wouldn't expect a PS fansite to be unbias but making up facts is just absurd. Show me proof of this 2 to 1 pre-order statistic. According to the e-tail giant GTAIV for the Xbox 360 is currently ranked #2 in Video Games > Xbox 360 > Adventure.

By comparison, GTAIV for the PS3 is currently ranked #6 in Video Games > PlayStation 3 > Action.

It's still anyones game at this point. Plus, for those who may not know Xbox 360 will have exclusive downloadable content for the game on LIVE. LIVE users can download new missions to keep the game going long after PS3 users have finished their GTA experience. Not to mention multi-player on LIVE kicks PS3's online service right in the balls.

Actually Cortez, I know 10 million subscribers who say that LIVE is better than PSN. How many ppl are on PSN? How can you be such a PS3 advocate when PS3's can't even outsell your inferior PS2 console? You don't see people buying Xbox's instead of 360's. Anyway, as for comparisons, it was exposed long ago that testers are refusing to use the PS3's best settings becuase "that is not what you get straight out of the box". How terrible of Sony for providing different settings for SD and HD televisions and allowing the user to optimise.

Take a look at the videos which DO use the PS3's optmised HD settings. Go on, take a day off.

PS Game makers - including those not affiliated to Sony - have said that they have yet to utilise more than 20% of the PS3's power but are getting there.

I find it stunning that 360 fanboys see that as a NEGATIVE and a criticism! The 360 is as good as the PS3 graphicly and is fully extended. No more to come. The PS3 has another 80% to go. Looking forward to the PS3 games which use 100% of the PS3's power while MS are already there!

[Incidentally, MGS4 will fill a 50GB Blu-ray disc. Try that on a DVD-9, Microsoft. That's why MGS4 CANNOT go cross-platform too. My my, what could need 50GB.........).

By the way, there are three times the number of 360s than PS3s. If any cross-platform sells less that three three times on the 360 than the PS3 than in real terms it has sold LESS.

For instance, MS has a 300% lead on Sony in hardware but DMC4 only has so far only sold 50% more. If that is success I should hate to see what failure looks like.

It will be interesting to see which system wins on this game. I foresee more PS3's being sold because of the end of the format war. For now, I don't think there is going to be a huge difference in game sales.
