MGS4 gets bundled up in the US

Oh it’s just a day of joyous Sony based news today isn’t it. The latest being the brand new bundle package to coincide with the “late Q2 2008” release of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots.

Packing an 80GB PS3, a copy of the game itself, and a DUALSHOCK 3 wireless controller, you’ll get the whole package for a mere $499. Not a bad price at all considering it’s bound to be a bloody AMAZING game.

Could this bundle be a big winner for Sony? Well, the traditional quiet period of the summer months doesn’t strike as the usual optimum release date, but considering its such a blooming huge title - and lets not forget a PS3 exclusive. Take THAT Microsoft – it could do a hell of a lot of good in Sony’s push to reclaim number one sales spot.
