Brace yourselves for an adorable overload. One Media Molecule artist’s Mum knocked up a real life version of LittleBigPlanet’s main player character, Sackboy. It’s quite a stunningly good replica of the expressive little chap. Any female whose voice has not risen by at least seven octaves on seeing these obviously has the cold dead heart of a puppy strangler.

LittleBigPlanet has been a long time coming, and by the looks of it we’ve got some wait left to go. The hype and anticipation is so huge that it’s even been rivalling more traditional gaming fares GTA IV and MGS4 of late. If the final game can live up to expectations, then it should be stunning.

Hopefully Media Molecule, who must have been slightly numbed by the overpowering cuteness of the game over the last couple of years of hard work, will get fresh inspiration from this incredible craftsmanship. And maybe the potential for mass produced real life miniature Sackboys to become a global storm will provide added incentive.
