Rumour: Less chunky PS3 to be made available in the Autumn?

ps32.jpgAccording to T3 magazine, Sony plan to release a slim line version of the PS3 towards the end of 2008.

Apparently the source of the rumour is a particularly well-informed insider, giving ample weight to what could quite easily be as solid as a rumour ever could be. The PS3 is a big beast of a console, and a much smaller version could invigorate sales akin to the huge boost that came along with the launch of the slim line PS2.

If these rumours do indeed prove to come true, what’s the betting the this extra tiny version of the PS3 is the one to come with the rumoured huge hard drive that’s been talked about for the last few weeks?
