According to a sneaky little screenshot taken from one participant of the closed beta of the much anticipated Home social networking system, this lengthy test could be coming to a close in May.

The little slice of visual info shows that the bets started in earnest on 6/22/07, and will finish 5/15/08. Plus that 'maintenance' was completed way back in August of last year. Not that we'll ever know what that was of course.

So what could this mean? Could it be the time that the often mentioned open beta will finally begin? Or maybe it's a sign that the full release is only a matter of months away.

Potentially it could just be that this particular tester loses his/her access in the middle of May, and we're still a long long way from Home's appearance. Either way, Sony have a hefty job on their hands if they expect us to take Home seriously when we'll all have our hands on GTA IV, MGS4 and LittleBigPlanet.
