Echochrome demo out today in North America

As revealed on the official PlayStation blog, the Echochrome has been scheduled to appear in the North American PlayStation Store as of today. The PSP version will also be landing in the PC Store too. Unfortunately it won't be hitting the European Store at the same time, so you will need to dip into a fake US account to get a copy.

The final version of the game, already out in Japan, is due in May (again that's for US and Canada) and will come with 56 levels built in. The PS3 ones are different to the PSP ones too, and there'll be more available "from Day 1". Sometimes it's actually good to be late to these things.

There will also be a level creation tool on both versions. That means you'll not only be able to share your level designs with your friends, but you can also submit your efforts to Sony's scrutiny and have a chance of getting them put in official extra content packs.

PSP owners wills also be able to share them over an ad hoc wireless network.
