GTA IV gets first PS3 review - and a perfect score

We've had to wait a few days longer than our 360-owning pals for the world's first proper review of GTA IV, but it's been worth the wait. Official PlayStation Magazine has awarded a score of 10/10, and the text is absolutely full of almost constant praise for the game.

"GTA continues to operate on a higher plane to other games" gushes Tim Clark, adding that the game is "richer, deeper and more involving than its predecessors".

We never doubted it really, but still, it's nice to hear that GTA IV is every bit as good as we all hoped. "The greatest testament to GTA IV's brilliance is that I haven't been able to stop thinking about it since I put the pad down" Clark further enthuses.

Ah, the vagaries of being a videogame journalist - sometimes, despite the joy of getting to play games early, the agony of not being able to keep playing until the retail version arrives is even more pronounced.
