Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G sells LOADS - PSP coming back

monsterhunterfreedom2ndg.jpgYou hear the word that a game has managed to shift 1.5 million copies in a mere two weeks on sale, and the usual suspects spring to mind. Maybe it's the new FIFA title? What about the latest in the Gran Turismo franchise?

Well, no. The beast on the PSP that's managed to sell such a huge number of copies goes by the name of Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G. A nice little tongue twister to try and come up with after a dozen pints of the nice stuff.

So, blimey. Yeah. A hell of a set of figures for Sony, especially with the PSP selling more than all other consoles COMBINED the week before last in Japan. And yes that is indeed including the all conquering Wii and DS.
