Old Square Enix titles hitting the PSN. But only in Japan.

squareenix.jpgFans of ye olde Square Enix titles, as some of the greatest hits of the past are finally making their way to the PSN. But at the moment only in Japan.

A swift peak at the latest Japanese PSN update shows that brilliant side-scrolling shooter Einhander, and FANTASTIC role-playing game Xenogears are available to download for a handful of pounds.

Apparently a total of 12 Square Enix titles are set to appear on the PSN, meaning that there are certainly a few classics that aren't going to be available any time soon. What about Final Fantasy VII, eh? And Front Mission? Grandia? Tobal No. 1? Star Ocean?

No news on these games appearing anywhere other than Japan anytime soon, which isn't exactly shocking news. We're always screwed over, and we constantly take it like the squealing pigs that we are.
