Uncharted patch will shortly open up 47 48 Trophies

Naughty Dog is about to launch a patch for Uncharted that will bring in a set of those elusive Trophies that we waited a long time for but few games bother to support at the moment. There'll be 47 of them in all, but once you've got those you get an extra one for having them all.

You'll be given them for getting headshots, finding treasure, beating people to death, finishing the game and so on. If this sounds familiar, it's because they are the exact same as the current medal system. Never mind though; Uncharted is a top PS3 game and worth a second visit to hoover up any remaining awards that you missed, now that it actually counts for something no matter how fleeting.

One slight niggle though. The Trophies aren't retroactive. Naughty Dog doesn't care how long you spent collecting the things the first time round, you'll still need "to start a brand new save game without any medals or rewards unlocked". Oh, joy.
