Futuristic war theme? Check. Spades of grittiness? Check. Burly space marine? Check. This latest Killzone 2 trailer shows plenty of technical excellence, with a well realised dark war torn future, but there's no doubt that we're on well-heeled territory here. it's rather bizarre that Killzone 2 is being held up as the great hope for the PS3. The first game, perhaps unfairly built up as a Halo killer, opened to decidedly mixed reviews. Killzone 2's looking like a solid game which will probably provide entertainment in its own right, but I'm not expecting it to revolutionise the PS3 gaming scene.
