We can expect a European demo for Killzone 2 according to Sony, although the release date and content of the demo are still unclear. However, according to the report on gaming website Eurogamer, a source stated that we can expect a demo before the game releases, should it pass QA in time. Gamers in America looking to get their hands on the demo before release have to do so by pre-ordering the title from Gamestop.

I'm hoping that we get our hands on a demo before release. Graphically, Killzone 2 looks like an incredibly impressive title, but I'm more interested in how it plays. FPS is a crowded genre, but with a few exceptions it's not one that's seen a lot of innovation in the last few years. To live up to the hype, Killzone 2's going to have to do more than play adequately. It's going to have to do something new.
